Range
范围
A range represents the complete set of hole cards a player could logically hold given their actions throughout the hand. Instead of trying to put an opponent on one specific hand, skilled players think in terms of ranges. Ranges narrow as more actions are taken — a player who 3-bets preflop and bets three streets has a much tighter range than one who limps and checks every street.
Example
A player who raises from UTG likely has a range of {AA-TT, AK, AQ, AJs+}.
