**Characteristics**: Plays few hands, rarely bluffs, folds to pressure **Exploitation**: Bluff them relentlessly; fold when they show aggression. Steal blinds aggressively because they over-fold.
**Characteristics**: Plays many hands, calls too much, rarely raises without the nuts **Exploitation**: Value bet thinner than usual — bet second pair or top pair weak kicker. Never bluff. Use larger sizing for value.
**Characteristics**: Plays strong ranges, bets and raises with purpose, generally balanced **Exploitation**: Steal blinds more, 3-bet their wide LP opens, avoid big pots without strong hands. Focus on position.
**Characteristics**: High VPIP, high aggression, wide 3-betting, constant pressure **Exploitation**: Trap more (slowplay strong hands), call down lighter, 4-bet bluff with blockers, avoid folding marginal made hands
**VPIP** (Voluntarily Put $ In Pot): >30% = loose, <18% = tight **PFR** (Preflop Raise): Gap between VPIP and PFR reveals passivity. VPIP 40/PFR 5 = calling station. **3-Bet %**: >8% is aggressive. Against high 3-bet frequency, open tighter and 4-bet more. **Fold to C-Bet %**: >60% means they over-fold. C-bet them relentlessly.
Watch for tilt — a nit who just lost a big pot may start playing like a maniac Note bet sizing tells — weak players often bet small with weak hands and big with strong hands Adjust as they adjust — if your exploitation is noticed, shift back toward balanced play
