delayed c-betcheck backrange protectionpostflop
Försenade C-satsningar och skyddande flopp-back-back-intervall

Short Answer

A delayed c-bet is a bet on the turn after checking back the flop and seeing the opponent check again. It protects the flop check-back range and lets marginal or backdoor hands act with more information.

Why Check Back Exists

If the in-position player bets every strong hand and good bluff on the flop, the check-back range becomes too weak. Opponents can attack turns and rivers. GTO keeps some strong hands, marginal showdown value, and backdoor hands in check back.

Delayed Bet Candidates

Good delayed bets include backdoor draws that improve on the turn, hands that were poor flop bets but gain fold equity later, and medium hands that can thin value after the opponent checks twice.

When To Keep Checking

If the turn improves the opponent's range or your hand has showdown value but hates being raised, checking remains reasonable. A delayed bet is not an obligation; it is a new node decision.

Decision Steps

  1. Keep some strong hands in flop check back.
  2. Observe whether the opponent checks turn again.
  3. Choose delayed bets using improved equity, blockers, or thin value.
  4. Be careful betting medium hands that cannot continue versus raise.

Är det ett tecken på svaghet att checka tillbaka floppen?
Inte nödvändigtvis. Ett ljudåtercheckningsintervall innehåller starka händer, showdown-värde och fördröjda bettingkandidater.
