Rules & Hand Rankings

Texas Hold'em is played with a standard 52-card deck. Each player receives 2 hole cards, and 5 community cards are dealt face-up on the board.

Hand Rankings (Highest to Lowest)

**Royal Flush** — A-K-Q-J-10 of the same suit

**Straight Flush** — Five consecutive cards of the same suit

**Four of a Kind** — Four cards of the same rank

**Full House** — Three of a kind + a pair

**Flush** — Five cards of the same suit

**Straight** — Five consecutive cards

**Three of a Kind** — Three cards of the same rank

**Two Pair** — Two different pairs

**One Pair** — Two cards of the same rank

**High Card** — No matching cards

**Preflop**: Each player receives 2 hole cards. Betting begins.

**Flop**: 3 community cards are dealt. Second betting round.

**Turn**: 1 community card dealt. Third betting round.

**River**: Final community card dealt. Last betting round.

**Showdown**: Remaining players reveal their cards. Best hand wins.

**Blinds**: Forced bets by SB (small blind) and BB (big blind) to create action

**Dealer Button**: Rotates clockwise each hand, determining position

**Pot**: Total chips wagered by all players in a hand
