Solver output can be overwhelming. Learn to extract the most important information efficiently.

Understanding Solver Output

**Action frequencies**: What percentage of the time to take each action (bet, check, call, fold, raise)

**EV (Expected Value)**: The average profit of each action measured in big blinds

**Range visualization**: A 13x13 grid showing how each hand in the range should be played

**Highest EV action**: The single best play for each hand

**Mixing frequency**: When a hand should be played multiple ways (e.g., raise 60%, call 40%)

**EV difference**: How much you lose by choosing a suboptimal action

**Small bets with wide ranges**: On static boards, solvers prefer small bets with many hands

**Large bets with polarized ranges**: On dynamic boards, solvers bet big with strong hands and bluffs

**Checking medium-strength hands**: Solvers check back with hands that aren't strong enough to bet

Pick one specific spot to solve (e.g., BTN open vs BB defend, A-7-2r board)

Look at the overall strategy first, then dive into individual hands

Focus on hands you play frequently

Compare your actual play to solver recommendations

Note patterns that appear across multiple similar spots
