Fold Equity
弃牌胜率
Fold equity is the additional value gained from the chance that an opponent folds to your aggression. It is a critical component of bluffing and semi-bluffing profitability. When calculating the EV of a bluff, fold equity is multiplied by the pot size and added to the equation. The more fold equity you have, the more profitable your bluffs become.
Example
If you estimate your opponent folds 40% of the time to a pot-sized bet, your fold equity adds 40% of the pot to your expected value.
