Un cadre d'étude GTO pour RFI, 3-Bet et 4-Bet

Short Answer

RFI decides which hands can enter first. 3-bet decides which hands pressure an opening range. 4-bet decides which hands continue against a 3-bet. These nodes cannot share the same range because opponent ranges and pot odds change.

RFI: First-In Range

RFI depends on position, players behind, and rake. Early positions need stronger ranges; late positions can steal more blinds. The goal is not to memorize every combo, but to know which hands are position-dependent and which remain strong everywhere.

3-Bet: Pressure And Value

A 3-bet range combines value hands and bluff candidates. In-position 3-bets can be more linear because position improves realization. Out-of-position 3-bets need more raw strength, blockers, and a clear postflop plan.

4-Bet: Compressed Continuation

After facing a 3-bet, the continuing range becomes much narrower. 4-bet value usually comes from premium pairs and strong aces. Bluff candidates often contain ace or king blockers. Calls need hands that realize equity in lower SPR pots.

Study Order

  1. Learn RFI by position.
  2. Then learn 3-bet and call responses against RFI.
  3. Finally learn how the opener continues after facing 3-bet.
  4. Handle stack depth and rake separately at every step.

Questions frequentes

Une range de 3-bet doit-elle être polarisée ?
Non. Les 3-bets en position peuvent être plus linéaires. Hors de position ou contre des ouvertures fortes, la range a souvent besoin de valeurs plus fortes et de bloqueurs.
