Weak top pair, medium pairs, some slowplays, ace-high with backdoors, and non-robust equity that dislikes facing raises can all check back.

- Ask whether betting makes your check range too weak.
- Keep some strong hands in the check range.
- Select medium hands that can continue on turns.
