Set Mining
暗三条挖掘
Set mining is calling preflop with a small or medium pocket pair hoping to flop a set. The profit comes from extracting value when you hit, which must compensate for the many times you miss. Implied odds and stack depth are crucial for set mining profitability.
Example
With 22 in the BB and 100bb stacks, set mining is profitable against tight open-raises.
