Overpair
超对
An overpair is a pocket pair that is higher than the highest card on the board. While strong preflop, overpairs become vulnerable on boards with high cards. Playing overpairs requires careful consideration of board texture and opponent ranges.
Example
With KK on a board of A-J-7, your KK is an overpair that must be careful of AK and AQ.
